Raids will start @ 7:30PM, that means first trash pulls start at 7:30. Try to be on as early as possible. This will hopefully keep us from going too late, and allow us to spend more time on Sunwell as necessary. There are some people who have work schedules which will prevent them from being on right @ 7:30, and we will accommodate those people if they are core raiders.
As for waitlist...if you are a core raider, i.e. you've been raiding with us for 6 months +, there is still the chance that you will be asked to sit for waitlist. This is especially true if we're trying to gear new people on the earlier farm content. As in the past, we try to enforce the 'don't be a dick' rule when it comes to loot. If you don't need loot from bosses and you're just sitting in the raid to get your dkp and keep yourself occupied for the night, then consider seeing if some of the newer people need anything. If you're on waitlist and you need a specific item from a boss, you send a tell to ME. You DO NOT send messages to other members of the raid pressuring them to sit, nor do you ask people to pass on loot for you because you think it's a bigger upgrade for you or whatever.
Now, DKP....well, it's not changing. Yes, there is an imbalance between the people who have been raiding since Gruul and the people who have been raiding since Reliquary. There is no way to balance this, the longer you've been in the guild the more DKP you're going to have. Nor will we be penalizing people for taking extended breaks by dropping their DKP. The people who are allowed to come back and resume raiding are people who have proved themselves to be invaluable members of the guild. It has nothing to do with tenure or officer status, it has to do with who I think performs well.
I expect to be missing a fair amount of raids for the next 2-3 weeks with the wedding and honeymoon, so I ask for people to be attentive and respectful to Ruol, Beef, and the other officers who will lead in my absence.
